This is an album that will change the face of pop music forever. Reminds me of when pop music still had something to say like Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation. “Where The Music Takes You” is the feel good hit of the year! And I even like his cover of “Human” better than the original. Great vocals, tight production and impeccable songwriting. Anyone that likes good soul music will love this album. And a totally cool callabo with Sax legend Dave Koz. Not a bad song on here.

This album ‘transporter system’ is somewhat less accessable than ’space under sun’ but once you take the time to get to know it, it will really rock your world. Positive, funky, upbeat……..LOVE IT !!!! Ps, did I mention that Ari Gold himself is yummi ;-) ……an extra bonus. Justin Timberlake, eat your heart out !!!!

Talk about waking up with the house on fire! Ari’s new music is as delicious as he is himself. Most of the tracks are filled with lots of energy and smart, catchy lyrics. I got hooked with the earlier “Space Under Sun” album and this new cd has reeled me right in.

There’s a little rock, a little jazz, and a whole lot of upbeat, can’t sit still, R&B/pop music. Love it!

Ari’s strong, sensual voice is pure honey, and when it wraps it around songs as sweet as these, the result is delicious. I love Ari on a mid tempo song, and the second track, Transport Me, is Ari at his best: haunting, romantic and soulful. If you love his signature song Space Under Sun, Transport Me will will find a similar home on your “favorites” playlist.

Of course, Ari excels at dance tracks, too, and Where the Music Takes You is a rocking good time, as is Mr. Mistress and Good Relationship. This CD will definitely keep you going on the dance floor or in the gym.

It’s great to hear an artist as talented and accessible as Ari as he continues to grow and evolve. Even better, unlike many male pop star who have yet to tumble out of the closet, Ari is openly gay, and directs some of his songs to other men. The result? Music that is more heartfelt, more sincere and more moving that you’re used to hearing.

Transport Systems is really good stuff. Buy it for the music, but also enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you’re helping prove that gay artists can be successful without hiding their true selves. Ari’s a great-looking guy, but his true beauty lies in his art and his courage.

Keep it up Ari – you are loved.

Transport Systems truly showcases Gold’s effort to be singer/songwriter that appeals to everyone. He’s taken time on this work to refine his sound with better hooks, smarter lyrics, and slicker production. The set of songs featured here represent the concept of the album well. As a result, The tracks with the most to impart are front loaded. Transport Me, Where The Music Takes You, and Ride To Heaven show Gold at his very best. He tackles gender and sexuality, relationships, and crystal meth’s effect on the gay community. He remains true to his original purpose which is to make music that sounds familar yet clever, fun and yet powerful. Some of the songs do sound just a tad over produced and predictable. However, Transport translates into a maturity that says “I’m much closter to reaching my full potential” and it shows.
