You have to be old enough to rent a car in foreign countries in order to travel outside of the U.S. which in most cases is 25. They do this to prevent you from hitchhiking and squatting. It happened to me when I was 20. I purchased the ticket just fine and got on the plane but when I arrived in Paris I was arrested almost immediately off the plane, put onto another plane and sent back the the states. Never got my luggage back either, they told me it was being “temporarily confiscated” but that was 3 years ago. Your best bet would be to stow away a cargo ship or something, don’t tell your parents either because they’ll be accessories to your breaking international law.

I think the minimum age to fly alone is 15, however i don’t recommend doing it at that age unless there is someone to pick you up/someone to stay with e.g friends, relatives

There isn’t a legal minimum. If you’re a child, you must have guardianship at both exit and entry points. You’re not a child at 16, so just go.

Every country has different law about that.
