Ask. always ask the relevant authority.

Depends on the authority issuing the licence. You’ll need to ask or Google them.

You must answer any questions honestly, so it depends on the question. If you are asked whether you have ever had any convictions then the answer must be yes. However, if you are asked whether you have had any convictions in the last 10 years then the answer is no. Just be sensible and answer truthfully.

I dont think your convictions will still be on record, i know for insurance purposes, speeding points stay on your lisecnce for 3 years, but are traceable for 5, this means that after 6 years they are not traceable and you do not have to declare them.
I dont think after 32 years your convictions willo be traceable, so my answer is no, i wouldnt declare them, but check this out with the DVLA first.
If you still have these convictions listed on your lisence (which i very much doubt it) then apply to DVLA for an updated lisence, this will come back clean, with no convictions listed on it, think it costs about £20-£30, its worth doing.
Hope this helps.

Don’t try to hide anything, no matter how remote. Simply ring the relevant Council and ask them, then you’re bullet-proof.
They’ll probably laugh happily and tell you not to be silly, but at least you’ve done your bit!
