How do I work out percentage of business miles/personal miles for a taxi driver who doesnt record mileage?

    All you can do is a best estimate and make sure he does it from now on. If then next year you discover the actual is very different to your estimate you can put an adjustment through the accounts.

    Record the approximate mileage from memory and write it down .( Distances between places can be close enough for you to do that) The Inland Revenue can work out the rest in percentages.
