The 785 is impressive but nothing compared to the 797B. I’m on the build team for the 797B and 797 AC. Every time I come to work & stand next to it…it never fails to impress. It can carry 400 tons of dirt, has a 24 cylinder diesel @ about 4,000 h.p. and it is so big that it has to be shipped to the site in component parts and assembled on site. Everything on these beasts is made of cast iron almost. They weigh over 1 million pounds empty !!!

    Mitch – great clip mate!!

Just so you know that 994 loader was the very first load that the Western Star and the 8×8 Module did. That machine was loaded out of Blackwater and taken to Ritche Bros auctions in Brisbane (Approx 950kms). The other clips on my page show the machine after it was refurbished and sold.

It was a very good test for all the new equipment giving it such a big load on it first voyage……

Keep up the good work mate!!!
